Few people remember that the Black Mamba was actually drafted by the Hornets before being traded to Los Angeles. It’s safe to assume that deal worked out well for the purple and gold. Marvel at these amazing shoes which commemorate Kobe’s special draft day. Kobe has autograpehed each shoe and inscribed the left shoe with the offical date of his draft “6-26-96.” These are limited to ONE in the world and is extremely rare! I am excited to be the proud owned of these Limited Edition Kobe Bryant Shoes.
Kobe Bryant and LeBron James All Star Cards that have both been sent to BGS were graded Gem Mint 9.5! I wasn’t too shocked when I got the gem mint grade because when I purchased them raw they were already in really great condition! Both of the cards are very rare and limited to 25. What I like about the LeBron card is that he won 2006 MVP All Star honors that year and became the youngest to win the award scoring 29 points and grabbing six rebounds. The Kobe card has a patch that clearly says “ST” on it from “Houston”
Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) released the 2005 NBA All Star Game jersey which has been autographed by LeBron James. The 2005 All Star Game was the First All Star game of LeBron James NBA Career. LeBron James All Star stat line was 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals. The East All Stars ended up beating the West (125-115)
Collecting rookie cards has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a kid. Take a look at (2) Derrick Rose Rookie Cards from the SPX Set by Upper Deck that I own. Upper Deck has created both a home and away version of the card and included a jersey swatch and is autographed by Derrick Rose. Both cards are graded by Becket Grading Services (BGS) and have been graded a Mint 9. BGS is one of the toughest graders in the nation and what makes each card rare is that SPX cards are tough to grade high because they are thick cards and the fact that only 99 were produced from each style.
Kobe Bryant scored 31 points to capture his second MVP award and lead the West to a 153-132 victory over the East in the NBA All-Star game on Sunday. Bryant hit 13 of 24 shots and had six steals and six assists in the game, played just off the glittery gambling mecca known as “The Strip.” The Los Angeles Lakers guard also had 31 points when he was MVP in the 2002 All-Star game in Philadelphia. It was the first time the All-Star Game was played in a city without an NBA franchise and first to be played on a college campus.
The jersey itself is autographed by Kobe Bryant with the inscription of “07 AS MVP” and is limited to 124. I was able to add #63 to my ever growing Kobe Bryant memorabilia collection.
Upper Deck Authenticated released 50 Authentic Team USA Jerseys that were autographed by Kobe Bryant after he helped Team USA win the Gold Medal during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The jersey itself is also inscribed with “08 USA Gold”
Here are a few more pictures of Kobe Bryant representing Team USA and bringing home the Gold Medal at the 2008 Olympic Games.
Kobe and Nike continue to be on the forefront of shoe design and the Lightbulb Del Sol is no different. This shoe possesses three different shades of yellow including Del Sol, Lightbulb and Tour Yellow in gradient-like fashion. The rest of this Kobe VI is finished in black with a white outsole. Kobe has autographed the back heal on both shoes Exclusively for Panini Authentic. The edition size for this special color way is limited to 6. I currently own the last edition being 6/6.
Here are a few pictures from Game 4 of the Playoffs vs. the Dallas Mavericks.
2011 Kobe Bryant Autographed Zoom VI Black history Month Shoes. These shoes were produced to pay tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King. These were limited to 10 and I currently own the last number of the edition with number 10. What I personally like about the shoe is that they are both signed in his full name. Number 10 is also the number he wore during the 2008 Beijing Olympics in which he helped Team USA win the Gold medal. Only a hand full of these shoes were produced which makes them also rare.
A collection of shoes that commemorated MLK day in 2011 as well as a few photos of Bryant wearing the MLK edition shoes.
Kobe Bryant dazzled in the All-Star Game in 2011, taking home MVP honors in the midseason showcase for the fourth time in his career to match Bob Pettit’s record for the most in NBA history. The superstar tallied 37 points and 14 rebounds on his home floor as the West held off the East, 148-143.
To celebrate his MVP honors, Bryant has signed and inscribed this amazing photograph. With a limited edition of 24 pieces, I was able to get my hands on number 4/24. This item is even more significant because the number 4 is his fourth NBA All Star MVP award!
Panini Authentic released another very limited edition shoe autographed by Kobe Bryant. Bryant was the top All Star vote getter and was also named the 2011 NBA All Star MVP with a stat line of 37 points, 14 rebounds, and three steals and won his fourth All-Star Game Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, tying Hall of Famer Bob Pettit for the most All-Star MVP awards. Bryant only autographed FOUR of these shoe which make this edition ultra rare and a pure collectors item. I was lucky enough to own part of this collection with edition number two.
